365 Things To Do in Wheeling

#7.  Hope For Hines.

Hines David Rotriga, age 2, was diagnosed with Stage IV Neuroblastoma on December 26, 2013.

Read that again.

The day after Christmas. AGE TWO.

There is no way anyone can fully understand what the Rotriga family is going through. Least of all two-year-old Hines himself.  But he is tough and he is fighting. Hard.

And he needs our help.

Treatment is very, very expensive. Traveling to Morgantown and Pittsburgh, time off of work, etc. takes a toll on a family's resources, energy, and lifestyle....but not their spirit!  Their optimism and humor is inspiring.  They are handling this with grace and class.

It truly does take a village.  We all can help.

Hine's family member owns and operates Miklas Meat Market in Woodsdale.  So while you're out grocery shopping, stop by.  It's the Hope For Hines headquarters.

There are many events planned throughout the valley to support Hines and his fight.  There was an amazing outpouring of people and support at Quaker Steak & Lube yesterday.  And there are many other events coming soon.

Please find one to attend by clicking here.

You'll be glad you did.
